Hegre, McMahon  & Schimmel, LLC is a full-service middle-market certified public accounting firm with nearly 45 years of combined experience, two locations (Merrillville, Indiana and Chicago, Illinois), and seven personnel.  We provide traditional accounting, attest, and tax services to clients in various industries, including, but not limited to, real estate investors, real estate developers, manufacturing, distribution, retail, professional services, personal services, non-for-profits, and medical practices.

Accounting Services

We provide a wide range of various accounting services, including assistance with monthly bookkeeping.  These services range from assistance with recording day-to-day activity such as cash receipts and cash disbursements, recording of general ledger activity, reconciling bank statements, payroll services, assistance with internal financial statements, and monthly clean-up of accounting activity.  Our accounting services are tailor-fitted for our client’s specific needs which are based on their internal accounting structure and range from day-to-day, month-end, quarter-end, or year-end support.

Attest Services

We view our role in the financial reporting process as an opportunity to provide constructive solutions for maximizing your company’s profitability and efficiency.  We provide financial reporting on an audit, review, and compilation level of assurance.

Tax Services
